What I wore for Christmas by milly724 featuring drop earrings
Batwing top, £13, Othermix lace skirt, $35, Christian Dior strappy high heels, $688, Dereon drop earrings, $32, Diamond wedding ring, $30, Miss Selfridge hair accessory, £2

Over the years Christmas always meant wearing something red, white or green. Until recently I stopped caring. My wardrobe is filled with color as much as it’s filled with black. I decided that I could wear black and add minimal color and still feel festive. I mean Black is New York’s favorite color, after pinstripes and blue of course. So in deciding what to wear I constructed an entire outfit around my wood and leather clogs. Adding to my 5’6 height my 4 inch heels are comfortable enough yet fashion forward. Then came the lace skirt. It’s been in my closet for over a year now and I have never found myself aching to wear it. The top simply came about because of my desire to wear the turquoise color to match my eyeshadow. Now it seems I’ve spent a lot of time giving thought to this outfit but in reality I merely spent a couple of minutes on my couch going through the items in my closet while on my laptop. For me putting together an outfit is as easy as a numbered coloring page, where your only options are those colors already set for you. After all I am a girl on a budget!
